Collective bargaining

State employees make Colorado run. From public health experts and nurses to snow plow drivers and livestock inspectors, state workers provide services to more than five million Coloradans. We live and work in all 64 counties of our state and we come from different races, religions, and ZIP codes.

We believe that all people, no matter where they work, should have the freedom to negotiate with their employer for fair wages, good benefits, and a safe workplace. In Colorado, state employees have been working with Governor Polis and his administration to pass a law that would grant collective bargaining to state workers. With a voice on the job, we can improve the services we provide.
